In 2018, long term client Optimizely began gearing up for their first ever user conference and enlisted our help to concept the event, create the messaging and creative and execute on the delegate, sponsor and speaker goals.

The Brief

To create and deliver a multi-stream event designed to meet the needs of a new era of cross-functional product teams spanning engineering, product and marketing audiences.

The Solution

Armed with the theme of “Creating the Future of Customer Experience Today” we developed the event messaging and creative direction.

A high impact delegate and sponsor acquisition strategy comprising a multi-phased promotion program spanning the full spectrum of channels was created in order to meet our investment neutral goal.

 
The Results

Working to a very short turnaround time, MVC managed the event from concept creation, speaker, sponsor and delegate acquisition right through to post-event lead follow up.

Kicking the original delegate goal of 300 attendees out of the ballpark with a whopping 400+ attendees and 10 sponsors - the event secured over $120,000 in sponsor funding, amplified Optimizely’s market presence and provided a significant boost to their sales pipeline.
